Jeunesse Review (2026): What Happened After LaCore and Velovita?

If you were in Jeunesse, or you've been invited to join it, the first question is simple: is it still around? It's a fair question, because the company changed hands in 2023, some of its assets were sold again in 2024, and its own website no longer loads.
This Jeunesse review lays out what happened, in order, with the source for each step: who owns it now, where the products sell, how the business works, and the 2025 referral to the FTC.
Quick answer: Jeunesse was a Florida network marketing company founded in 2009. LACORE bought it in January 2023, and the industry's self-regulatory council says Velovita acquired certain Jeunesse assets in November 2024, after Jeunesse ceased operations. Its luminesce products now sell on velovita.com, and jeunesseglobal.com doesn't load.
I've been inside 8 network marketing companies since 2004, and I start every review with the company's own words. For Jeunesse, those words are hard to find now, so I read the industry's own records, news coverage of each sale, the regulator-facing case pages, and the site that sells the products today. You can browse every company I've reviewed on one page.
Here's what I found.
Is Jeunesse Still in Business?
Not the way it used to be. When I tried to open jeunesseglobal.com on October 14, 2026, it returned a Cloudflare "Error 1000" page instead of a website. The Instagram account @jeunesseglobal showed 274 followers and 0 posts the same day.
The brand's products still sell, though. luminesce and other Jeunesse lines are on velovita.com, the site of the company that acquired certain Jeunesse assets in November 2024. You can compare its status with other companies in the full MLM company directory.
What Is Jeunesse?
According to the Direct Selling Self-Regulatory Council, Jeunesse is a direct selling company based in Florida, founded in 2009, that markets health, wellness and beauty products focused on anti-aging.
| Detail | Info |
|---|---|
| Founded | 2009, in Florida |
| Owners | LACORE (2023), then Velovita (assets, late 2024) |
| Best-known line | luminesce skin care |
| Sellers | Independent distributors |
| Own website | Not loading (October 14, 2026) |
| Where products sell | velovita.com |
At its 2023 sale, Jeunesse served customers in 124 countries through 30 offices in 8 global regions, according to Direct Selling News.
Who Owns Jeunesse Now?
Here's the ownership chain, step by step.
January 2023: LACORE. LACORE announced "the acquisition of 100% ownership and managing interest of Jeunesse Global," per Direct Selling News. BusinessForHome reported that Terry LaCore appointed Jason Borné as CEO.
November 2024: Velovita. The Direct Selling Self-Regulatory Council (DSSRC) says Velovita "acquired certain Jeunesse assets in November 2024, after Jeunesse ceased operations." BehindMLM reported on December 3, 2024 that there was "no official announcement," and wrote that the deal included Jeunesse's websites, social media accounts and product catalog. Neither company has published the scope, so treat BehindMLM's list as reported, not confirmed.
2025: the name on the case. The DSSRC first captioned its 2025 Jeunesse case "Velovita, Inc. d/b/a Jeunesse Global Holdings, LLC." It later added an Editor's Note relaying Velovita's statement that it "has no association with Jeunesse Global Holdings, LLC," that the claims "pertain solely to Jeunesse Global Holdings during 2022 and 2023," and that Velovita "acquired certain Jeunesse assets in November 2024, after Jeunesse ceased operations."
If you were a Jeunesse distributor through all of this, you didn't do anything wrong. Ownership changes happen above your head, and most distributors only find out when their back office or website changes.
What Jeunesse Sells Now
On October 14, 2026, velovita.com was selling Jeunesse product lines alongside its own, including:
- luminesce skin care
- RESERVE
- M1ND
- AM and PM Essentials
- FINITI
The product pages I read didn't show prices, which made it hard to compare value from the outside. I haven't tested the products, and I'm not going to make claims about what they do.
Is Jeunesse an MLM?
Yes. Jeunesse was built as a network marketing company that sold through a network of independent distributors.
Under Velovita, BehindMLM wrote that, "as far as I can tell," Jeunesse now operates under Velovita's compensation plan. I couldn't find a current Jeunesse income disclosure to quote, so if you're considering joining, ask your sponsor for Velovita's current plan and income disclosure in writing.
The 2025 DSSRC Referral to the FTC
On February 10, 2025, the Direct Selling Self-Regulatory Council (DSSRC), part of BBB National Programs, referred Jeunesse to the Federal Trade Commission and the Florida Attorney General's Office "for possible enforcement action."
Here's why, in the council's words: "The referral comes after Jeunesse failed to respond to DSSRC's inquiry requesting substantiation for certain earnings and health-related product performance claims made by Jeunesse and its salesforce members."
To be clear about what this is: a referral, not a ruling. The DSSRC is the industry's own watchdog, and it sends a case to regulators when a company won't engage. But a company that won't answer its own industry's questions about income claims is a red flag for anyone thinking about joining.
What Jeunesse's Social Media Shows Right Now
| Platform | Handle | Followers | Posts | Status |

Read October 14, 2026. For a distributor, there's no company content under the Jeunesse name to share right now.
The Good: What Jeunesse Gets Right
- The products still sell. luminesce and other lines live on at velovita.com.
- A long run. The brand was built over more than a decade and reached 124 countries.
- Recognizable product names. People still search for luminesce by name.
The Concerns: What You Need to Know
- Its own website is down. jeunesseglobal.com didn't load on October 14, 2026.
- Two ownership changes since 2023. And the second one came with no official announcement.
- A referral to the FTC. The industry's watchdog sent it to regulators after it didn't respond about earnings and product claims.
- No current income disclosure found. Nothing to set your expectations against.
- No prices on the product pages I read. Hard to judge value before you sign up.
Jeunesse vs Other Acquired Companies
Jeunesse isn't the only company to change hands recently. Read what happened after Amare bought Kyani, and compare with Modere and Nu Skin, two companies whose own sites are running. If you're looking at beauty companies, my SeneGence review covers one with a current enrollment page.
Product Alternatives
If you liked Jeunesse products and want something similar without joining anything, here's what else is out there. Velovita's pages didn't show Jeunesse prices when I checked, so these are simply affordable options in the same categories, not claims that they work the same.
| What you want | Jeunesse product and price | Alternative | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| A hydrating face serum | luminesce Cellular Rejuvenation Serum (price not shown on velovita.com) | The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 (with Ceramides), $9.90 | A multi-depth hydration serum with a clear, low price |
| A resveratrol supplement | RESERVE, a superfruit blend with resveratrol (price not shown on velovita.com) | Carlyle Resveratrol Complex, 180 capsules, $16.99 | A resveratrol supplement with a clear, low price |
Amazon buy-box prices as listed on October 14, 2026, both in stock; prices change often. Talk to your doctor before starting any supplement.
My Verdict: Is Jeunesse Worth It in 2026?
One More Thing...
If you built a Jeunesse team, you've just learned the hardest lesson in this industry: you don't control the company. Owners change, websites go dark, and plans get rewritten.
What you can control is your own audience. When people follow you, not just your company, a change at the top doesn't send you back to zero. That skill works with any company, now or later.
