FULL AFFILIATE DISCLOSURE PAGE
The Sponsoring System (operated by Scepter Marketing, LLC) is a for-profit website that reviews Multi-Level Marketing companies, business products, and professional development services. We generate revenue through affiliate commissions and other partnerships.
This page explains our affiliate relationships, how we earn commissions, potential conflicts of interest, and how this may influence our content.
1. WHAT IS AN AFFILIATE RELATIONSHIP?
An affiliate relationship means:
– We recommend third-party products or services to our readers
– We provide links (affiliate links) that track when you click through and make a purchase
– If you complete a purchase through our link, we earn a commission
– The commission is paid by the merchant or affiliate network, not by you
– Your purchase price does not increase because of our commission
2. AFFILIATE PROGRAMS WE PARTICIPATE IN
We participate in affiliate programs from the following companies and networks:
E-Commerce & Marketplace
- Amazon Associates: Commission ~3-10% on products purchased through our links
- iHerb: Commission on supplements, vitamins, health products, and wellness items
- Alternative supplement retailers and health product merchants
Email Marketing & Sales Funnels
- GetResponse: Commission on email marketing software and automation tools
- Systeme.io: Commission on all-in-one sales funnel and email marketing platform
- ClickFunnels: Commission on sales funnel software and marketing tools
- Legendary Marketer: Commission on online courses and business education
Affiliate Networks & Ad Networks
- ShareASale: Network facilitating commissions from hundreds of merchants
- Awin (formerly Affilinet): Global affiliate network with diverse merchants
- Individual MLM Company Affiliate Programs: Commission on product sales and enrollments from companies we review (see below)
MLM Company Enrollments & Commissions
- 7k Metals: Site owner Matt Hall is currently enrolled and earns commissions on product sales
- Other MLM companies we review may have affiliate/enrollment links (commissions vary by company)
3. HOW WE EARN COMMISSIONS
3.1 Standard Affiliate Commissions
When you click an affiliate link on our Site and complete a purchase:
1. Your click is tracked through a unique affiliate ID
2. The merchant or affiliate network records the sale
3. We receive a commission (percentage or fixed amount varies by merchant)
4. You are not charged extra; your price is the same
3.2 Conversion Windows
Different affiliate programs have different “conversion windows” (how long you have to complete a purchase after clicking):
– Amazon: Typically 24 hours
– iHerb: Typically 30-90 days (depends on cookie settings)
– Email marketing platforms: Typically 30-60 days
– MLM companies: Varies; typically 7-30 days
If you click a link but don’t complete the purchase within the conversion window, we don’t earn a commission.
3.3 Commission Amounts
Commission amounts vary by merchant and affiliate program:
– Amazon: 3-10% depending on product category
– iHerb: 5-10% on most products
– Email marketing platforms: 20-40% (often recurring commissions if you remain a customer)
– ClickFunnels: ~40% on standard plans
– Systeme.io: 30-40% recurring commission
– MLM companies: Vary by company structure (typically 10-50% on personal sales)
Exact commission amounts are set by each merchant and may change.
3.4 No Impact on Your Price
Affiliate commissions do NOT increase your cost. You pay the same price whether you click through our affiliate link or go directly to the merchant’s website. In many cases, we may negotiate discounts or special offers for our readers, which we pass along.
4. POTENTIAL CONFLICTS OF INTEREST
4.1 Financial Incentive
We have a financial incentive to recommend products and services we earn commissions on. This creates a potential conflict of interest. To mitigate this:
- We only recommend products we genuinely believe in and have researched
- We disclose all affiliate relationships transparently
- We recommend against products we believe are low-quality, even if they are affiliate programs
- We clearly label affiliate links and provide full disclosure
4.2 Matt Hall’s Personal Enrollment
Important Disclosure: Matt Hall, the Site owner, is currently enrolled in several MLM companies we review on this Site, including:
– 7k Metals: Matt is an active member and earns commissions on product sales
This means:
– Matt has a financial interest in promoting these companies
– Articles about 7k Metals or similar companies may be influenced by Matt’s personal involvement
– We disclose this potential conflict clearly in relevant articles
4.3 Commission Tracking
Our affiliate tracking uses:
– Cookies that identify affiliate clicks and conversions
– Pixel tags that track your interactions with recommended products
– Email tracking that measures which recommendations led to sales
This tracking helps us understand which recommendations are valuable to readers and improve our content. See our Privacy Policy for full details on tracking and data collection.
5. TRANSPARENCY & HONESTY
5.1 Our Commitment
We are committed to:
– Clearly disclosing all affiliate relationships

– Research independently, not relying solely on vendor materials
– Test or use products when possible
– Compare competitors and discuss pros/cons
– Disclose our commission relationships
– Disclose any negative findings, even if it affects commissions
– Include income disclosures and risk warnings for MLM companies
