What is an “abundance mindset”? Consider these two examples:

Jim Bob has been in his business for 7 months and has gone through all of his contact list of 70 people… twice. Out of everyone he talked to, he only sposnored 2 people. Just yesterday, he met a great prospect at the bookstore and was able to set up a meeting with him for next week. While excited, he’s also incredibly nervous. Having gone through his whole list, he’s not sure how he’s going to grow his business because he doesn’t have much to work with beyond his team of two

Bertha on the other hand, is only 3 months into her network marketing company. She has a huge network of people to prospect having done several speaking engagements, some traveling, and because of her involvement with her church and charity groups. At a conservative count, her network spans a 3,500 people that she’s personally met. She also has just set up a one on one meeting with a new contact she just made at one of her speaking events.

Now which of the two do you think will have more confidence going into their meeting? Bertha of course, but the more important question is, “Why?”

Abundance.

Bertha has abundance of leads and is in a position where she will be meeting many more (as a traveling speaker) whereas Jim Bob has lack.

When you have abundance, it’s much easier to believe the truth that you don’t actually NEED this particular prospect to join your business. The truth is, there are thousands of people in the world that are actively looking for an opportunity and would gladly join yours if you can find them and approach them the right way. But this is MUCH harder to see when you’re staring at a list of people that you’ve already called twice with little success.

One of the most valuable assets that a network marketer can posses is an abundance mentality. The easiest way to have an abundance mentality is to have an abundance of people to talk to and a way to talk to them.

If you’d like to learn how I’m getting in front of thousands of potential people, just fill out the form on the right, and I’ll do what I can to help. Just fill out the form on the left.
