Zinzino Review (2026): Is Zinzino Worth Joining After the It Works Merger?

Until recently, many networkers in the US hadn't heard of Zinzino. In 2026, a lot of them work for it without ever having applied, because Zinzino has been buying other companies' distributor bases, including It Works! in January 2026.
So if Zinzino just showed up in your life, here's what you're looking at. This Zinzino review covers who runs it, what it sells, how the merger happened, how Partners get paid, and the activity rules I'd read before buying any kit.
Quick answer: Zinzino is a Norwegian-founded, test-based nutrition company, best known for BalanceOil+ and its at-home BalanceTest, with shares listed in Stockholm. It says it is free to become a Partner. It pays through a binary plan, and its US revenue has grown mostly through acquisitions.
I've been inside 8 network marketing companies since 2004, and I always start with the company's own words. For Zinzino, I read its US website, its 2026 US compensation plan, its 2025 year-end report, the It Works! merger release and two BBB National Programs case decisions. You can browse every company I've reviewed on one page.
What Is Zinzino?
Zinzino calls itself a test-based wellness company. The idea is simple: take a finger-prick blood test, follow a supplement program, then test again. The company says "zinzino" means "a small piece with great value."

Who's Behind Zinzino?
Zinzino's own story starts with Hilde and Ørjan Sæle, who "built their family business near Oslo." Today the CEO is Dag Bergheim Pettersen.
What matters most for anyone in the US is what happened in 2025 and 2026. Zinzino's year-end report lists the 2025 acquisitions: the assets of Zurvita, Valentus Global, Ecosystem SAS, Bodē Pro and Truvy. The Bodē Pro deal, for example, covered "the rights to the distributor database and associated customer register, inventory, and IP rights," for a fixed price of $2 million, according to Direct Selling News.
Then on January 26, 2026, Zinzino announced it had merged It Works! into its family of businesses. Per the release:
- Zinzino acquired "the operational assets of It Works!' US business, including inventory, distributor agreements, customer agreements, and IP rights"
- The fixed price was USD 30 million, paid in 1,843,840 new Zinzino B-shares
- Zinzino estimated the combination "will generate over USD 60 million in additional revenue in 2026"
If this pattern sounds familiar, it should. It's the same play I covered in what happened after Amare bought Kyani: a bigger company buys a smaller one's field and folds it into its own plan.
Zinzino's Numbers
Because Zinzino is listed, it publishes real figures. From its year-end report for 2025:
- Total revenue was SEK 3,337.5 million, up 51% from SEK 2,207.8 million
- In North America, revenue rose 173% for the full year, to SEK 546.7 million
The report credits that North American growth to "good work by the existing distributor organizations in combination with the newly added distributor organization from Zurvita, and later in the year also from Truvy and Bodē Pro." In plain words, a big part of the US growth came from buying teams, not only from growing them.
What Zinzino Sells
The flagship is BalanceOil+, which Zinzino describes as a "Polyphenol Omega-3 and Vitamin D dietary supplement." When I checked the US shop on October 14, 2026:
- BalanceOil+ 300 ml: $67, or $47 at the Premier price
- BalanceOil+ Premium 300 ml: $94, or $66 at the Premier price
The other half of the model is the BalanceTest. Zinzino says it is a dried blood spot test, and that it works with the Vitas chemical analysis lab in Oslo. The company also calls it "a self-screening test intended for informational purposes only," and says its test kits are CE marked.
Customers who subscribe become Premier Customers. Zinzino says they "may receive up to 40% on our Premier Kits."
I'm not going to tell you what the oil does for your body. That's a conversation for your doctor, not a business review. If you'd rather look at a supplement company that has sold in the US for more than 50 years, see my Nature's Sunshine review.
How the Zinzino Compensation Plan Works
This is the part most Partners skim, so let me slow down. These rules come from Zinzino's US compensation plan dated 10-04-2026.
Getting started:
- "Starting as a Zinzino Partner (Back Office Entrance) is free"
- Partner Kits are optional. In the US, the Basic Kit was $339, the Advanced Kit $859 and the Ultimate Partner Kit $1,195 when I checked
- With the Ultimate Partner Kit, Zinzino offers "a full loyalty refund when acquiring 25 Premier Customers within a year" (the kit shop shows the refund on some state versions of the kit, so check the terms for your state)
Staying active:
- For the month you start plus the next four calendar months, you need 10 Credits a month from your customers and your own orders. Zinzino calls this the Grace Period
- From the fifth month, you need four Personal Customer Points plus 20 Credits a month to stay an active Partner
Team pay:
- It's a binary plan. Your volume is split between a left team and a right team
- Balanced Credits work on a ratio: "a maximum of 2 parts of your qualifying Credits can come from the larger team in ratio to 1 part from the smaller team"
- Zinzino4Free (Z4F) lets a Partner earn their own subscription free by keeping enough customers on it
The binary structure is where most people get stuck. If one side of your team grows much faster than the other, a lot of the extra volume on the bigger side won't count.
Is Zinzino a Pyramid Scheme?
Zinzino answers this on its own site. It says "More than 85% of our sales are made directly to our end customers (in the US the required level is 51%)," that it's free to become a Partner, and that its Partner Kits only contain discounted products.
Those are the right answers on paper. A model built on customers, with no required buy-in, is the opposite of a pyramid scheme.
What I couldn't find was a US income disclosure statement. Without one, there's no way to see what the average US Partner actually earns. That's not proof of anything bad, but it's a gap I'd want filled before joining. For comparison, LifeWave publishes a yearly US earnings disclosure for its Brand Partners.
What Zinzino's Social Media Shows
These are the accounts linked from Zinzino's US website, read on October 14, 2026.
| Platform | Handle | Followers | Posts / videos | Newest |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| @zinzinoofficial | 112K | 1,494 posts | ||
| YouTube | @Zinzinoofficial | 7.94K subscribers | 125 videos | October 2, 2026 |
| TikTok | none linked from its site |
Instagram is where the company's audience is. The YouTube channel is small for a company of this size, and there's no TikTok account linked from its website. For Partners, that means you'll be making most of your own content.
The Good: What Zinzino Gets Right
- Free to start. You don't have to buy a kit to become a Partner.
- Public company numbers. You can read its revenue in its own reports.
- A real hook. The test-then-retest model gives customers a reason to stay.
- Mostly customer sales, per the company. It says more than 85% of sales go to end customers.
- A refund path on the big kit. Zinzino's plan offers a full loyalty refund on the Ultimate Kit at 25 Premier Customers in a year; check the kit terms for your state.
The Concerns: What You Need to Know
- Growth by acquisition. A big part of the North American growth came from buying other companies' distributor bases. If you're coming over from one of them, your old plan is gone.
- Binary math. Only balanced volume counts, so an uneven team pays less than it looks.
- Activity rules ramp up. After four months, you need four Personal Customer Points and 20 Credits every month.
- No US income disclosure that I could find. Ask for one in writing.
- Self-regulation history. In 2021, BBB National Programs' Direct Selling Self-Regulatory Council (DSSRC) flagged a Zinzino social media post claiming "COVID-19 Solution - Omega 3 and Vitamin-D can help with this disease," plus earnings language like "the first step towards health and wealth." Zinzino removed the post and agreed to the recommendations (Case #38-2021, closed June 9, 2021). In 2025, DSSRC reviewed 13 online claims made in the Valentus field, and Zinzino removed or significantly modified 10 of them. All but one of those posts were made before Zinzino bought the Valentus assets (Case #225-2025, closed July 28, 2025).
I give Zinzino credit for cleaning up claims it inherited. But it shows what comes with buying a field: the field's old habits come too.
Product Alternatives
If you like the idea of a daily omega-3 oil but don't want to become a Partner, you don't need a kit. When I checked Zinzino's US shop on October 14, 2026, BalanceOil+ 300 ml was $67, or $47 at the Premier price. Other brands sell liquid fish oil for less, and I'd look at them if you want a fish oil without the business:
| What You Want | Zinzino | Alternative | Why Consider It |
|---|---|---|---|
| A flavored liquid fish oil | BalanceOil+ 300 ml, $67 ($47 Premier) | Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega Liquid, Lemon, 4 oz | $38.21, a smaller bottle |
| A larger bottle for less | BalanceOil+ 300 ml, $67 ($47 Premier) | Carlson The Very Finest Fish Oil, 200 mL | $29.67 |
Amazon prices are what the listings showed on October 14, 2026. The bottles are different sizes, and BalanceOil+ is a different formula (Zinzino adds olive oil polyphenols and vitamin D), so these aren't the same product. I haven't tested them side by side. This is a price comparison, not a lab test.
My Verdict: Is Zinzino Worth Joining in 2026?
One More Thing...
Zinzino's whole pitch is "test, don't guess." That's good advice for your business too.
Most Partners guess. They post, message friends and hope. The ones who last learn to measure what brings people to them, and do more of that. That skill works with any company, including the next one that buys yours.
That's what The Sponsoring System teaches. It's a free email series where I share the digital marketing that actually works for networkers. If you want it, start the free series here.
