Prüvit Review (2026): KETO//OS, the Herbalife Deal, and the Income Numbers

If someone in your feed is posting about ketones and "Prüving it," you've probably wondered what Prüvit actually is, and whether it's still around after the Herbalife news.

This Prüvit review covers what happened with Herbalife, what the drinks cost, how Promoters get paid, and what Prüvit's own income disclosure says about typical earnings.

Quick answer: Prüvit is still selling in 2026. In April 2025 Herbalife bought certain Prüvit assets and said Prüvit would run independently for up to two years. As a business, Prüvit's own disclosure says the median US Promoter earned $10.59 in all of 2022.

I've been inside 8 network marketing companies since 2004, and I always start with the company's own words. For this review I read pruvit.com, Prüvit's Income Disclosure Statement, Herbalife's announcement and quarterly filing, the FTC's 2020 warning letter, the industry watchdog's 2025 case report, and Prüvit's public social media profiles. You can browse every company I've reviewed on one page.

Here's what I found.

What Happened to Prüvit?

Herbalife bought part of it. On March 12, 2025, Herbalife announced a binding memorandum of understanding to acquire "100% of the assets" of Pruvit Ventures, along with another company called Pro2col Health. The same release said "Pruvit will continue to operate independently under its current ownership for up to two years."

Herbalife's quarterly report filed with the SEC gives the terms. In April 2025 it "acquired certain assets of Pruvit Ventures, Inc.," for "a base cash purchase price of approximately $19.0 million," plus "a potential milestone payment ranging from $5 million to $25 million," payable in the second quarter of 2027 if Prüvit hits certain sales targets. Herbalife also got the right to distribute and sell ketone supplements.

So Prüvit is live today, but the two-year window runs out around spring 2027. On October 14, 2026, pruvit.com's footer read "© 2026 Pruvit Ventures, Inc." You can compare its status with other companies in the full MLM company directory.

What Is Prüvit?

Prüvit sells ketone drink mixes and related supplements through independent sellers it calls Promoters.

Prüvit's footer carries the standard line that its statements "have not been evaluated by the FDA" and that its products are "not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease." I'm not making any health claim about ketones either. If you're thinking about a supplement, talk to your doctor first.

Who's Behind Prüvit?

Prüvit's "Meet the Team" page lists Brian Underwood first, followed by five people listed with the title "Dr." In a post dated November 18, 2024, the company called him "CEO Brian Underwood" and said Direct Selling News ranked Prüvit number 21 on its Global 100 list with $598 million in annual revenue.

I couldn't confirm from a company source who runs Prüvit day to day after the Herbalife deal, so I'm not naming a current CEO.

What Prüvit Sells and What It Costs

Here's what the ketone collection on pruvit.com showed on October 14, 2026:

ProductPrice
KETO//OS NAT (Raspberry Lemonade, Lime Time and other flavors)$145.00
KETO//OS Black Label Blue Ocean$175.00
K_1from $79.00

The site also offered "Build your own bundle & SAVE 30%." The collection page didn't show how many servings each order includes, so ask before you buy.

Is Prüvit an MLM?

Yes. Prüvit's own income disclosure describes Promoters who qualify for "downline commissions" and ranks from R1 to R11. The home page has a "Get paid to Prüvit" link, and the K_1 Partner page offers "12 Month Rank Accelerator" and says "As a Partner, you don't sell. You activate. You guide. You lead."

Is it a pyramid scheme? I don't use that label for a company selling real products to real customers, and Prüvit does. What I'd look at is the same thing I'd look at anywhere: what the typical seller actually earns. Prüvit publishes that, so let's look.

What Prüvit's Income Disclosure Says

Prüvit's Income Disclosure Statement covers all US Promoters eligible for downline commissions in 2022. A Promoter is anyone who paid "the $49 annual Promoter fee" that year. Here's what it says:

  • Average annual income: $2,392.51.
  • Median annual income: $10.59.
  • Unranked Promoters: 44.15% (11,149 people), averaging $10.48 for the year.
  • R1: 16.26% (4,106), averaging $304.18.
  • R2: 5.43% (1,371), averaging $1,537.98.
  • The top: R10 and R11 together were 17 people, averaging $728,877.40 and $1,527,993.15.

The gap between the average and the median is the story. A small number of people at the top pull the average up. Half of all Promoters earned $10.59 or less in the whole year.

These are gross figures. The disclosure says expenses "can be several hundred or thousand dollars annually" and that the figures "should not be considered as guarantees or projections of your actual earnings or profits." I'm not making any income claim. This is the company's own data. Note that it's from 2022, and it's the most recent statement I found.

What Regulators and the Industry Watchdog Said

Two records are worth knowing, and both are public.

The FTC warning letter (April 24, 2020). The FTC sent Prüvit a letter about social media posts by its "business opportunity participants or representatives" that "unlawfully advertise that certain products treat or prevent Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)" and "misrepresent that consumers who become Pruvit business opportunity participants are likely to earn substantial income." It was a warning letter about posts, not a fine or a court ruling.

The DSSRC case (closed April 8, 2025). The Direct Selling Self-Regulatory Council, the industry's own watchdog, flagged 11 Facebook posts by Prüvit sellers, including "Want a FREE car? Pruvit!" It found the posts suggested "a typical Pruvit salesforce member earns significant income." Prüvit had all 11 removed, and the council closed the case and said it appreciated the company's "good faith efforts."

On the Better Business Bureau, Prüvit's profile showed an A+ rating and said it is not BBB accredited when I checked on October 14, 2026.

If you were a Prüvit Promoter and those posts sound like what you were told, you're not alone. Lots of good people joined because of a message like that. The real numbers are above, and the skills you built talking to people still count.

The Good: What Prüvit Gets Right

  • It publishes its numbers. A detailed income disclosure, with the median, not just the average.
  • It acted on the watchdog's flags. All 11 flagged posts were removed in the 2025 case.
  • A big public buyer. Herbalife paid real money for its assets and reported it in an SEC filing.
  • A buyback policy. The disclosure says Prüvit repurchases unopened returned products that are more than six months from expiration.

The Concerns: What You Need to Know

  • The median Promoter earned $10.59 in 2022. And the yearly fee was $49.
  • The newest disclosure I found is from 2022.
  • An uncertain future. Herbalife's two-year window ends around spring 2027, and nobody has said publicly what happens next.
  • A history of earnings hype by sellers. The FTC letter in 2020 and the DSSRC case in 2025 were both about seller posts.
  • Premium prices. $145 for a KETO//OS NAT order.

Product Alternatives

If you're curious about ketone drinks but don't want to join, here's what else is out there. This isn't medical advice, and I'm not saying these work the same way. Talk to your doctor before you try any supplement.

Prüvit vs Herbalife and Other Supplement Companies

Since Herbalife now owns Prüvit's assets, read my Herbalife review too. For other supplement companies, see my Plexus review, my It Works review and my Yoli review. Compare them on one thing above all: what the typical seller earns.

My Verdict: Is Prüvit Worth It in 2026?

One More Thing...

If you were a Promoter, here's the good part. You learned how to talk about a product, share a story and follow up. Those skills are worth a lot more than a rank.

What usually holds people back is reach: running out of friends and family to tell. When you learn to reach people online with helpful content, you stop depending on any one company's future.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happened to the Pruvit company?

In April 2025, Herbalife bought certain assets of Pruvit Ventures for a base cash price of about $19.0 million, with a possible milestone payment of $5 million to $25 million in 2027. Herbalife said Pruvit would keep operating independently under its current ownership for up to two years.

Does Pruvit still exist?

Yes. On October 14, 2026, pruvit.com was selling KETO//OS and K_1 with a 2026 copyright and a live sign-up for its sellers. Its long-term future is tied to the Herbalife deal, so check again before you build on it.

Is Pruvit an MLM?

Yes. Its sellers, called Promoters, pay a yearly fee and earn on their own customers and on their downline, with ranks from R1 to R11. The company publishes an Income Disclosure Statement for its US Promoters.

How much do Pruvit Promoters make?

Pruvit's own disclosure for 2022 puts the median annual income for all US Promoters at $10.59 and the average at $2,392.51. Those are gross figures before expenses, and the company says they are not a guarantee of what anyone will earn.

Is Pruvit worth it?

As a business, the company's own numbers say the typical Promoter earned very little in 2022. As a customer, its ketone drinks cost $145 for a KETO//OS NAT order on pruvit.com, so compare that with other ketone products before you buy.
