Omnilife Review (2026): Products, Prices and the Distributor Business

Maybe a friend or a relative has offered you Omnilife. It's a big name in Mexican direct selling (its group says it's on the DSN Global 100 list), and most people searching for it in the US are customers looking for its drinks and supplements.

So is Omnilife worth buying, or joining? This Omnilife review covers who's behind it, what the products cost in the US, what it costs to start as a distributor, and what I could and couldn't find about how distributors get paid.

Quick answer: Omnilife is a legitimate, family-run Mexican company, founded in 1991, that sells nutrition and beauty products through independent distributors in the US. It's an MLM. The starter kit is $46.07, but I couldn't find a US compensation plan or income disclosure, so you can't check what distributors typically earn.

I've been inside 8 network marketing companies since 2004, and I always start with the company's own words. For Omnilife, I read its US storefront (with the location set to the United States), its US business page, its group history page, and its public social media profiles. You can see every company I've reviewed on one page.

Here's what I found.

What Is Omnilife?

Omnilife sells nutritional supplements and drink mixes under the OMNILIFE name and cosmetics under the SEYTÚ name. It's part of Grupo Omnilife, which says it's a group of more than 50 companies in more than 20 countries. In the US, it operates as Omnilife USA, Inc.

The group says it started with $10,000, three employees, six independent distributors and one product, and that more than 7 million people have improved their lives using and sharing its products. According to Wikipedia, Vergara first co-founded Omnitrion USA in 1989 with two American colleagues; the Mexican company started as Omnitrion Mexico in 1991 and took the Omnilife name in 2000.

You can compare its status with other companies in the full MLM company directory.

Who Owns Omnilife?

It's still a family company. Grupo Omnilife's group page names Jorge Vergara and Maricruz Zataraín as founders, Amaury Vergara Zataraín as President and CEO, and Kenya Vergara as VP of Marketing for OMNILIFE-SEYTÚ. Jorge Vergara died in New York on November 15, 2019, at 64, according to Wikipedia.

What Omnilife Sells in the US

The US store listed 152 products when I checked on October 14, 2026. Here are some of the best-known ones and their US prices that day:

ProductWhat it isUS price
OML PlusFruit-flavored drink mix with vitamins, minerals and herbal extracts, box of 30 packets$66.05
OML FemPeach-flavored supplement, box of 30 sachets$42.74
OML UmarinaOmega-3 fish oil, 30 capsules, 240 mg DHA$33.30
OML Gummies Vitamin DGummies with 400 IU vitamin D3, 45 gummies$32.19
MAGNUSCitrus-flavored drink mix with 13 vitamins and minerals$37.19
Power GainOrange-flavored powder with 3,000 mg L-arginine per serving$75.48

I'm not going to tell you what these products do for your health. Read the label and talk to your doctor, especially if you take medication. What I can tell you is the price, and it's high for what's in the box, which I'll compare below.

Is Omnilife an MLM?

Yes, and its own US business page says so plainly. It lists "3 steps to achieve success in your Omnilife business as an independent distributor":

  1. "Purchase your membership and consume the products"
  2. "Share your experience"
  3. "Lead teams," by "inviting other people to join OMNILIFE"

The same page says you can "earn refunds on purchases made by your members" and "qualify for international trips, incentives and more." That's a multi-level structure: you earn on your own customers and on the people you bring in.

How the Omnilife Business Works, and What It Costs

To start, you buy the OMNILIFE-SEYTÚ starter kit for $46.07 on the US store. It includes a Unified Product Guide, a box of Magnus, a Facial Cleansing Foam, a backpack, and access to Omnibot. Omnilife notes the contents may vary by location.

But notice the first step on its own business page: "Purchase your membership and consume the products." Using the products is part of the plan, so budget for monthly product orders, not just the kit.

On pay, the page makes one big claim: "You can earn more than 50% of your investment." That's the company's own wording, not mine, and it doesn't say how many distributors do it. I couldn't find a published US compensation plan or a US income disclosure on Omnilife's site. Many US direct sellers publish both. If you're considering joining, ask your sponsor for both in writing.

What Omnilife's Social Media Shows Right Now

These numbers come from my check of each public profile on October 14, 2026.

That's a big, active audience, and most of the content is in Spanish. If you'd build your business in Spanish, the company is giving you plenty to share. If you'd build it in English, you'll find much less.

The Good: What Omnilife Gets Right

  • A long track record. Started in 1991, with a large group behind it.
  • A real US presence. An English-language US store, a toll-free US phone line, and DSA membership.
  • A cheap kit. $46.07 to start.
  • A loyal Spanish-speaking customer base, and a big, active social media following.

The Concerns: What You Need to Know

  • No US income disclosure. I couldn't find one, or a published US comp plan.
  • Pricey products. A month of OML Plus is $66.05, before shipping.
  • Consumption is built into the plan. Step one is buying and using the products yourself.
  • "Earn more than 50% of your investment" is a marketing claim with no numbers behind it on the page.
  • Health claims from distributors. Be careful with anyone telling you a supplement treats a condition.

Product Alternatives

You don't need a membership to get similar basics. Here's what Omnilife charges compared with common brands on Amazon.

An omega-3 supplementOML Umarina, 30 capsules, $33.30Nature Made Fish Oil 1000mg, 250 softgels, $18.89Much bigger bottle for less money, from a big US brand

A vitamin drink mixOML Plus, 30 packets, $66.05Emergen-C 1000mg Vitamin C, 30 packets, $12.98A simple daily vitamin drink packet for a fraction of the cost

Amazon prices are the Buy Box prices each listing showed on October 14, 2026, and they change often. These aren't identical formulas, so compare labels. If you love a specific Omnilife product, you can buy it as a customer without joining.

Omnilife vs Herbalife and Shaklee

If you're comparing nutrition MLMs, Omnilife is closest to Herbalife, another big nutrition MLM built around drink mixes. Read my Herbalife review for how that company handles the business side, and my Shaklee review for another long-running supplement company. Compare them on price per serving, the cost to start, and whether they publish what distributors earn.

My Verdict: Is Omnilife Worth It in 2026?

One More Thing...

Omnilife's own business page says it: the more you share, the more you earn. So the real question is who you can share with. For most distributors, that's family and friends, and that list runs out.

But the people searching "what is Omnilife?" or "OML Plus price" are online right now, in English and in Spanish. When you learn to show up where they're searching, with helpful content instead of a pitch, you stop chasing your contact list and start getting found. And that skill works with any company.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Omnilife an MLM?

Yes. Omnilife's own US business page lays out three steps: buy a membership and use the products, share your experience, and lead teams by inviting other people to join. It also says you can earn refunds on purchases made by your members. That is a multi-level marketing model.

Who owns Omnilife?

Omnilife is part of Grupo Omnilife, which says it was founded by Jorge Vergara and Maricruz Zataraín in 1991. Jorge Vergara died in November 2019. The group lists Amaury Vergara Zataraín as its President and CEO.

Where is Omnilife from?

Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Its US storefront lists its address as Av. Inglaterra 3089 in Guadalajara. Its US arm, Omnilife USA, Inc., is listed as a member of the US Direct Selling Association with an address in Fort Worth, Texas.

How much does it cost to join Omnilife?

The OMNILIFE-SEYTÚ starter kit costs $46.07 on the US store, as of October 14, 2026. It includes a product guide, a box of Magnus, a facial cleansing foam, a backpack and access to Omnibot. Omnilife's business page says your first step is to purchase your membership and consume the products, so plan for product orders beyond the kit.

Is Omnilife a pyramid scheme?

I did not find any US court or regulator ruling that it is. It sells real products to real customers. But I could not find a published US compensation plan or income disclosure, so there is no public way to see how much of its distributors' pay comes from customers versus their own teams. Ask your sponsor for both in writing before you join.
