The Power Of a System for Building Your Home Business

One of the biggest problems in network marketing is scale. It’s easy enough to teach the first few people you sponsor how to contact people, demonstrate and showcase products, and do three-way calls. But what about when you sponsor 20 people? What about 100? How do you teach 100 people to do what you’re doing? Or here’s a better question – How do you teach them all without going crazy spending all of your time? You got started in this business to get your time free didn’t you?

Well, fortunately, there’s a solution. Systemization. Robert Kiyosaki in his book Cashflow Quadrant says that the difference between a self employed business owner (the “S” quadrant) and the wealthy business owner (the “B” quadrant”) is that the “B” type business owner owns a system that does the work for him whereas the self-employed business owner does all of the work himself. To truly build a big business, you will need to systematize your business. In short, you need to get to the point where you are working more and more on your business and less and less in your business.

Here are some steps you can take to do this:

  • Put together materials that every new person gets when they enter your business that will train them to do the basics
  • Figure out ways to communicate to more than one person at a time. If you teach 100 people at a time instead of 1 at a time you are now leveraging your time much better.
  • Set up forms of communication that are completely automated so that you don’t have to spend anytime teaching new reps what to do

Having a system greatly allows you to leverage your time. If you really want to build your home business quickly and effectively, you MUST have a system that gives you leverage.
