Lauren Hockenson wrote up a great post on Mashable about making the most of companies that offer a free version of their product to users with the option to upgrade to a premium account. She covers some great tips in the hopes of helping small business owners who are trying to get things going on a shoestring budget.

I think this article is worth reading because 1) the things she mentions are just as relevant to the network marketing world as they are to any other small business and 2) because network marketing IS a business and needs to be taken seriously if one wants to be successful.
